Government budgets for eastern malls

The government has earmarked money from its budget for the next two years to finance the purchase of beachfront land in Bodden Town, East End and North Side. The land will be used to house strip malls, where local artists can display their wares. The project is part of the Go East initiative, a campaign to attract tourists to the eastern districts of Grand Cayman.
