Key Employees
Key employees can stay in the Cayman Islands for up to nine years and apply for permanent residence.
The decision as to who is a key employee is made by the Cabinet. Key employees must be in a profession where there is a global shortage of employees or be involved in a business that the government wishes to attract to the Cayman Islands.
