• Preparation of management financials/GAAP financials.
• Ensuring all necessary transactions in relation to the clients business are carried out and also appropriately recorded.
• Effective liaison with clients and understanding of client requirements.
• Effective liaison with third parties such as the Cayman Regulatory authorities and the auditors.
• Foreign travel to attend client meetings as required.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management.

Requirements include:

• An accounting qualification eg ACA, ACCA, CPA etc
• Prior captive insurance experience is an advantage.
• Exposure to UK and Canadian GAAP an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
• As are excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Prepare the net asset valuation of your fund to pre-agreed deadline.
• Attend to the needs of your clients on a day-to-day basis.
• Be the main contact on your assigned clients for the internal and external auditors and relevant regulatory authorities.
• Perform ‘ad-hoc’ project work as assigned by senior management.

Remuneration for this role will be in the region of US$65-75k depending upon experience, plus bonus, plus relocation assistance.

Requirements:

• Must have an internationally recognized accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent.
• A business degree is preferred.
• Prior experience of working in a fund administration role is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Excel and preferably a major portfolio valuation software package.

You will need to deal with many departments and as such will require excellent communication skills.

You will also be very involved with the preparation of the monthly and year-end financial statements.

Requirements:

• Accountancy related degree and/or a recognized accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA
• 2+ years proven work experience of financial statement preparation, preferably in industry
• Developed finance and accounting skills, some exposure to International Accounting Standards is an advantage

Remuneration for this role will be in the range of US$65k-US$90k, depending upon qualifications and experience, tax free, plus a suitable benefits package.
