We are seeking a SharePoint Developer on behalf of our client’s IT team in Grand Cayman. This full-time/staff based role will involve providing a mix of SharePoint specific analysis, development and support related services for internal clients and company divisions. Applicants must be capable of handling multiple projects and tasks with changing priorities.

We are looking for as much as possible of the following:

- Strong development experience/understanding of .NET/C#, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, JavaScript/DHTML, PowerShell, SQL Server, networks, and systems integration
- Experience with record management or document management classification workflow
- Experience implementing security using Active Directory groups and SharePoint groups
- Experience with InfoPath, SharePoint Designer, and Visual Studio 2008/2010
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues by analyzing and evaluating possible solutions
- Strong understanding of security, performance, and other non-functional software attributes
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010
- Good sense of aesthetics and UI design
- Excellent organizational and time management skills in order to manage multiple and diverse projects concurrently
- Post secondary degree/diploma in a relevant field preferred

This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of a Telco/ISP Network and Systems department serving both business and residential customers. This individual must be able to lead and motivate a technical team so a background within an ISP/Telco environment is preferable. A large amount of IP network design and technical troubleshooting will also be required.

We are looking for the following in a preferred candidate:
- CCIE qualification preferred. CCNP/CCIP certification combined with CCIE level experience would also be of interest
- Experience with ISP level functions such as DNS, Radius, Web Hosting (Apache, IIS), Mail Routing (SMTP, POP, IMAP), as well as enterprise concepts encompassing Microsoft AD, Exchange. Familiarity with programming or scripting would be an asset
- Proficient with ISP level network concepts such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, AAA, xDSL, PPPoE, route summarization and redistribution as well as transport terminology such as STM-1/OC-3, POS, Gigabit Ethernet and implementation thereof
- Strong understanding of Metro-Ethernet technologies (including REP and PVRST+ and UDLD)
- Strong ability to manage a Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 network devices (primarily Cisco environment)
- Ability to plan, coordinate, install and maintain network equipment in a high availability environment with minimal downtime
- Hands on firewall experience preferred with demonstrated skills utilizing best practice network security skills
- Knowledge of hardware including servers, PCs, routers, switches, and storage infrastructure
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills dealing with both internal and external customers
