Job Description:

In this role, you will assume primary responsibility for the accurate transactional accounting of the business daily transactions. You will also be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of internal controls, particularly with regard to cash transactions.

You will need to deal with many departments and as such will require excellent communication skills.

You will also be very involved with the preparation of the monthly and year-end financial statements.

Requirements:

• Accountancy related degree and/or a recognized accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA
• 2+ years proven work experience of financial statement preparation, preferably in industry
• Developed finance and accounting skills, some exposure to International Accounting Standards is an advantage
• Highly computer literate, well developed Microsoft Excel skills are particularly important
• Familiarity with a number of software applications such as Great Plains

Job Description:

As the Senior Finance Manager in this luxury resort based in Grand Cayman you will be expected to assume the management of the Finance, HR and IT functions. This will entail supervising the preparation of financial statements and the presentation thereof to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for the budgetary process, treasury and cash-flow. You will also be the main point of contact for the external auditors and any relevant Caymanian government or regulatory body.

Remuneration for this role will be in the range of US$65k-US$90k, depending upon qualifications and experience, tax free, plus a suitable benefits package.

Requirements:

• You will require a recognized accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a financial statement preparation role.
• Hotel/Resort experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
• You must have a high level of IT proficiency and advanced Excel skill.
• The role demands superior supervisory skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
