On behalf of our client’s private banking division, we are currently seeking a qualified individual for the role of Senior Trust Officer. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for relationship management and administration of a complex portfolio of private trusts, companies and private accounts. The Senior Trust Officer will be responsible for the day to day management and supervision of an administration team and deputising for the Fiduciary Director as required.
Primary responsibilities will include:
• Administer a complex portfolio of accounts in accordance with the terms of the trust instrument and all relevant by-laws, policies and procedures.
• Provide advice, guidance and support to administrators and team members.
• Manage and monitor team profitability, productivity and morale – complete performance reviews as required.
• Participate in Relationship Management and Business Development programs
Requirements include:
• A Bachelors degree and/or a professional designation (LLB.; CFA; CA; STEP Membership) or equivalent relevant experience
• At least eight years’ of professional experience in the management of trusts and companies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
