Our client, a big 4 firm in Bermuda has an Audit Division which has a portfolio of clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance and Structured Finance/Alternative Investments.

Career prospects are fabulous due to the sheer phenomenal growth within the firm. Promotion is possible within a year to Assistant Manager and within another year to Manager. There is a clear track to Partner and always an opportunity for progression.

Duties include:

• Audit Seniors who have the skills to work closely with managers and partners and be responsible for all aspects of the audit process, from planning through to completion.
• Meticulous
• Services experience is an advantage but not required due to extensive training that will be given.
• First class written and oral communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills to produce and review complex financial reports and proposals
• Exceptional people skills with the ability to work with clients and staff of all levels
• Strong communication

Main Job Function:

This opportunity will allow you to gain practical US GAAP/SEC/SOX experience which will be supported by an extensive in-house training program.

Your role will surround the day-to-day audit and other assurance related services to a variety of clients. You will provide an efficient and professional level of service to the client within the guidelines set out by the Firm

Requirements:

• Exam qualified accountant - CA, ACA or ACCA.
• University graduate
• Experienced in Audit - ideally incorporating IFRS and US GAAP knowledge
• A strong ‘Auditor-in-charge’
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
