Senior Manager – Financial Accounting Advisory Services (Ireland)

International opportunity for a Senior Manager in the Financial Accounting and Advisory Services arena based in Ireland.

You will be based in Dublin but part of a 50 person team across Ireland and the UK who aim to help companies address commercial and financial reporting challenges they face, both in transition to IFRS, and in understanding and complying with financial reporting standards going forward.

This is a high profile position working with some of Ireland’s largest companies.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification

Experience/Criteria

• Minimum of 1 year practical experience of auditing or preparing financial statements under IFRS
• An audit or financial advisory background
• Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP and Irish company law
• Experience of relationship management at a senior level, negotiating with and influencing senior individuals, both internally and externally
• Experience of applying IAS 32, IAS 39 and IFRS 7

Main Job Function / Key requirements

• Providing advice to clients on first-time adoption of IFRS and ongoing advice on new standards, changes to standards etc
• Provide advice on structured finance type transactions involving complex financial instruments group reorganisations and asset/lease financing
• Identifying new business opportunities and working with internal contacts to convert leads and opportunities into engagements
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior finance personnel
• Promoting FAAS both internally and externally

Tax Manager (Ireland)

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience/Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, economics or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience within a Finance and Accounting environment with exposure to corporation tax
• Professional certification e.g., CPA, ACCA, LEC, CA
• Working knowledge of current and emerging tax issues, with the ability to apply knowledge
• Working knowledge of tax laws and tax software
• General knowledge or coursework in tax law
• A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment

Main Job Function
• Develop budgets, determine resource requirements, and direct/monitor engagements

Mitel VoIP Engineer

We are seeking experienced Mitel Telephony Engineers who would be interested in living and working in Bermuda and/or the Cayman Islands. The successful candidates will participate in system design and pre-sales consulting, proposal design and presentation, implementation and support with a focus on Mitel telephony solutions.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- 5+ years experience as an intermediate and/or senior IP communications engineer.
- Strong experience and ideally certification on Mitel MN3300 ICP and SX2000 systems
- In depth knowledge of VoIP design and implementation

SharePoint/.NET Developer (Bermuda)

We are looking for an experienced SharePoint / .NET Developer who would be interested in putting their background to use in subtropical, low-tax Bermuda!
