Hurricanes
The official hurricane season lasts from June 1st and ends on November 30th. Hurricane Ivan caused vast damage to the island in September 2004. The last devastating storm to hit the islands prior to this was in 1932.
Rain
The rainy season lasts from May to November. Rainstorms are generally brief but heavy. The driest months are March and April.
