Although crime rose after Hurricane Ivan struck in 2004, it did so from a very low level. The Cayman Islands are still the safest place to visit in the Caribbean. What crime does occur mostly involves petty thefts and domestic disputes. Relatively minor crimes still make the front page of the local newspapers.

That is a blatant lie, you need to repent! There may be a few armed robberies but nothing to compare to New York. There are no car jackings or gang shootouts either.
